Some Resources for Nursing Students.........

Whatever level you aspire to, nursing school can be challenging. Here are some resources to help you along the way!

American Association of Colleges of Nursing
AACN is the national voice for America's baccalaureate and higher-degree nursing education programs. Its main goals are to establish quality standards for nursing students who are working to obtain their bachelor and graduate degrees by helping the nursing profession to improve healthcare through its influence, and by promoting public support of nursing education, research, and best practices.

ExploreHealthCareers.org allows students to compare the training requirements, daily activities and salary potential for nursing and 100 other health careers, and to quickly search hundreds of pre-health enrichment programs, academic programs and financial aid sources. The site's mission is to attract more underrepresented minorities into the healthcare workforce to help improve access to care in medically underserved communities. Support for www.explorehealthcareers.org is provided in part by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, NJ.
National Student Nurses' Association
NSNA helps organize and mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, as well as those enrolled in baccalaureate completion programs. It is also an advocate for high-quality healthcare, advances in nursing education, and it helps develop nursing students who are prepared to lead the profession in the future.
Student Nurse Journey
This organization aims to decrease the drop out rate of student nurses by giving them resources to help them through school.
